Pearl Lasky DACM, LAc, LMT
Dr. Pearl Lackey is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Licensed Massage Therapist dedicated to helping clients reset, recover, and restore their health from the inside out. Her approach blends traditional Eastern medicine with modern wellness techniques to create deeply personalized treatments that address both symptoms and root causes.
At HEAL, Dr. Lackey specializes in nervous system regulation, stress and burnout recovery, hormonal balance, pain management, and facial rejuvenation acupuncture. She believes true healing is not linear—each client presents with a unique pattern, lifestyle, and set of contributing factors. Because of this, every treatment is intentionally tailored to the individual, combining acupuncture, bodywork, and supportive therapies to optimize results.
Her clinical philosophy centers around creating measurable progress while honoring the body’s natural healing timeline. Whether a client is seeking relief, recovery, or long-term maintenance, her goal is to guide them toward sustainable, whole-body wellness.
At HEAL, clients can expect a calming, supportive environment where treatments are designed not just to alleviate symptoms—but to restore balance, resilience, and vitality.
Acupuncture Q&A
Q: What can acupuncture help with?
A: Acupuncture can support a wide range of concerns including stress, anxiety, burnout, pain, hormonal imbalances, sleep issues, and overall wellness. Treatments are always tailored to your specific needs and root cause.
Q: What should I expect at my first visit?
A: Your first session includes a full consultation (60–80 minutes) where we go over your health history, lifestyle, and goals. From there, your treatment is customized to begin addressing both symptoms and underlying imbalances.
Q: How often should I come in?
A: For best results, we typically recommend starting with 2 sessions per week for 4–6 weeks to help reset the nervous system. After that, visits taper into weekly, bi-weekly, and then monthly maintenance.
Q: How quickly will I see results?
A: Healing is not one-size-fits-all. Some clients feel relief quickly, while others require more time depending on the root cause and consistency of care—both in and outside the treatment room.
Q: Does acupuncture hurt?
A: Most clients feel little to no discomfort. The needles are very thin, and many people find the experience deeply relaxing.
Q: What should I do before my appointment?
A: Eat a light meal 30 minutes before your session, wear comfortable clothing, and come hydrated. For facial acupuncture, please arrive without makeup.
Q: Are there any side effects?
A: Mild bruising or sensitivity can occasionally occur, which is normal and temporary. Most clients leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Q: Who should not receive treatment?
A: Certain conditions may require postponing treatment, such as active chemo timing, recent alcohol consumption, or specific medical concerns. We will review everything during your intake to ensure safety.
